| MechSoft for Inventor introduces intelligent design optimization with its new Group Manager. The Group Manager creates associations between a model inside of your CAD system and a construction model inside of the Group Manager. MechSoft's Group Manager allows you to solve groups of mutually linked calculations, standard parts, elements, user-defined parts and assembly parameters.
With this unique ability you can define and evaluate links and relationships between objects. With MechSoft's group manager it is now possible to design and evaluate your model and its functionality within the framework of your CAD system. (E.g. calculations are mutually linked so that results of one calculation are the input for the next one.) For instance, it's now possible to link transmission parts: gearing, shaft, bearings and key connections. The objects will exchange information intelligently. A simple change of entry conditions (e.g. carried output
and revolution) will then result in a new completely revised and mechanically correct model.
MechSoft users will see substantially reduced design cycle times as MechSoft systematically propagates your mechanical calculations across your entire assembly comprehending all individual component dependencies.
