(Presto) Update: Looks like the crackfix from Deviance was rushed and doesn't work. Immersion released their own crackfix which should work.
(Presto) Update: New crackfix out (Runaway.A_Road_Adventure.CRACKFIX.FINAL.iMMERSiON.ShareReactor.rar). This one is for Win 98/ME/2000 users. The first Immersion crackfix should work for Win XP users. From nfo:
This was a game on which we didn't want to spend too much time, as the first group that released it should have done it properly in the first place. Thanks to the users for noticing that the crack needs to work on 98/ME/2K. Leaving aside potential ethical issues with Deviance's crackfixfix, it still doesn't alt-tab, among other things, which our XP version and the orignal version do. A number of people asked us to fix this, so here it is for the scene.
