| messiah:studio is an animation package whose award-winning technologies have been developed by, and in conjunction with, some of the industry's top companies and artists. It is a user-driven production-centered product that has been used for everything from films and commercials, to music videos and games.
Many facilities have credited messiah with saving them both time and money, due it's sheer speed (real-time animation and interactive effects capabilities), and the ease at which it puts its power into the hands of the CG artist. Its short learning curve and uncluttered interface frees the artist to concentrate on what matters most in the end: the quality of the work; and having the most fun they have ever had using any package, period.
messiah:animate can be used as a stand-alone animation package or as a powerful addition to Maya, 3D Studio MAX, LightWave and Cinema 4D 8. One of messiah's many unique capabilities includes the ability to setup an animation, and through messiah's connections, run that animation and use it in any of the programs messiah connects to. Maya users love our powerful and easy rigging capabilities, such as the ability to setup custom control rigs with Armature, without having to deal with MEL script. Another favorite is messiah's "smart bones", that work the way you want them to right away, without requiring weight maps (though a weighting system is available).
messiah:animate comes with it's own API which can be used to write plug-ins, and the host API which can be used to easily write your own connection from messiah to any other program. Our API has been called "one of the easiest to use of all the major 3D applications," and it allows people who don't consider themselves programmers, to create modules in an amazingly sort period of time
