A race of giant male bionoids appear and attack earth and the humans retaliate with their super space fortress. The space war becomes a three way battle when a race of giant female bionoids join the conflict.
If you're really into the old Macross type manga/anime... u might be surprised because this series by Haruhiko Mikimoto is totally different! The art is a lot BETTER and it's pretty funny, unlike the old Macross. And there's no mechs stuff, at least not in the beginning. The lead girl looks a lot like Miyazawa (Kare Kano) ^_^
